Obituary:
KENDRA LANAE MALONE January 31,1987 - January 30, 2021 K endra LaNae Malone was born in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, on January 31, 1987 to the late Lillian Francis Watkins Malone and the late Robert Haley Malone, Sr. She and her son, Kamden Joseph Hayes departed this life on January 30, 2021. Preceded in death by her mother, Lillian Francis Watkins Malone; father, Robert Haley Malone, Sr., grandparents: James and Susie Simmons, and Samuel and Evelyn Watkins. LaNae grew up in Murfreesboro, TN, where she graduated from Oakland High School in 2005. She attended Middle Tennessee State University, where she received her bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts. LaNae enjoyed working in education and being around children of all ages. After working in education for many years, LaNae started her career with Nissan as a case management specialist. LaNae was a loving mother, caring family member, and devoted friend. Kamden brought so much joy into LaNae's life and she loved being Kale and BJ's little sister. She enjoyed traveling the world and being on the beach was her absolute favorite place to be. She loved watching the Dallas Cowboys every Sunday, along with coaching all of Kam's sporting events that he was involved in. Her favorite pastime was shopping, doing puzzles, and spending time with her sister squad. LaNae would light up any room she walked in, whether she was dancing or singing. LaNae believed in living life to the fullest just like her mom. The legacy and memories LaNae leaves will be cherished by her loving and devoted sister, LaKale Malone; brothers: Robert H. "B J" Malone and Shaun Akins; aunts: Patricia Stallings, Alma E. (Edward) Blackman and Vera Gooch; uncles: Melvin (Lyda) Watkins, Donald (Katie) Watkins, Ronald (Nancy) Watkins, Hardin (Martha) Gooch and Jerry (Donna) Gooch; special sister, Amanda Went; sister-in-law, Katie Malone; devoted friends: Jennifer Anglea, Annica Briley, Libby Alexander, Tracy Valdez, Jessi Byrum, Sallied Lyons, and Sara Beth Martin; significant other, Zachary Banks and a host of other relatives and friends.

 

KAMDEN JOSEPH HAYES May 6, 2015 - January 30, 2021 K amden Joseph Hayes was born in Smyrna, Tennessee on May 6, 2015 to the late Kendra LaNae Malone and Joseph Hayes. Kamden Joseph Hayes departed this life on January 30, 2021 in the arms of his mother, the late Kendra LaNae Malone. Preceded in death by his grandmother, Lillian Francis Watkins Malone; grandfather, Robert Haley Malone, Sr., grandparents: James and Susie Simmons, and Samuel and Evelyn Watkins. Kamden attended the Lancaster Christian Academy in Smyrna, Tennessee, where he was a shining light to his kindergarten teachers and classmates. He loved playing soccer, baseball, and basketball. Kamden was a friendly and compassionate kid. Kamden had many friends and he enjoyed playing nerf guns, video games, and sports. He adored his dad and enjoyed their time together, whether it was doing sports, riding scooters or just hanging out. He enjoyed dancing and singing around the house with his mom. Kamden was blessed to have two loving homes, one in Murfreesboro with his mom and one in Smyrna with his dad. Kamden adored his Aunt Kale and Uncle BJ. He loved to travel to the beach or lake with family and friends and he enjoyed fishing and swimming. The legacy and memories Kamden leaves will be cherished by a loving and devoted father, Joseph Hayes; grandmother, Laura Buchanan; grandparents: Don and Mandy Hayes; great-grandparents: Maryanne Van Dyke and Joseph Logsdon; aunts: LaKale Malone, Amanda Went, Katie Malone and Mollie Kate Creech; uncles: Andrew Hayes, William Hayes and Robert H. "BJ" (Katie) Malone and Shaun Akins; great-aunts, great-uncles; devoted friends: Braxton Hudson, Isaiah Alexander, Aiden Walker, Tate Briley, Honor Briley and Shawn Webb; along with other family and friends.
