Rollie Allen Sneed was born July 18, 1938 to Clara Mai Sneed and Willie Smith. He transitioned from this earthly life to eternal life on June 2, 2020.

Rollie grew up in the Rutherford County area and later moved to Fort Wayne, Indiana. He attended Bradley Elementary and Holloway High School. He served his country by joining the United States Army. He was employed at Samsonite for twenty-two years and later retired from Middle Tennessee State University as a Custodian.

He professed a hope in Christ at an early age and joined the Ebenezer Primitive Baptist Church Family. He loved to dance and listen to music. His favorite artist were Stevie Wonder, Johnny Taylorand Calvin Richardson. He also loved to play golf.

He was preceded in death along with his parents; one daughter, Cynthia Ridley; six brothers, William, Aaron, Robert, Terry, Curtis and Charles Sneed; six sisters, Fannie Jean Vaughn, Carolyn Sanders, Mary Ann Hathoway, Emmaline Rankins, Bessie Jean Howse and Willie Strain Smith; aunt, Magnolia North; uncle, Lorenzo White.

He leaves to cherish his memory, a devoted wife, Linda S. Sneed; five sons, Samuel (Patience), Randall L. Sneed all of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Timothy Martin of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Larrell (Roshanda) Fleming of Murfreesboro, Tennessee and Tony Martin of Fort Wayne, Indiana; six daughters, Sherry Martin and Monica (Lonnie) McCaleb both of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Michelle Fleming, Ronneesa, Makella and Lakella Ivy all of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; twenty grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren; one sister, Sharon Orr of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; three brothers, James (Daisy) Sneed, Michael Sneed both of Murfreesboro, Tennessee and Thomas (Aline) Sneed of Fort Wayne, Indiana; sisters-in-law, Mary Sneed and Earline Sneed; and a host of nieces, nephews, and devoted friends, James "Poosac" Lentz, Clarence Webb, David "Mustard" Edmondson, Jerry Gooch, Larry Jones, Danny Edmondson, Robert McCullough, Raymond Johns and Ted Knox.
