Gerald "C]" or "Geej"was born November II, 1991 to Gerald Howse Sr. and Tracey Howse in Nashville, Tennessee. On Friday, May 22, 2020 in Cookeville, Tennessee, Gerald transitioned from this earthly life to be with The Lord.

He accepted Christ at the age of eight and was baptized by Pastor Cornelius Arna Hill at St. Luke Primitive Baptist Church. He later became a member of Forest Chapel Baptist Church in Atlanta, Georgia.

He graduated from Siegel High School in 2010. Geej was a gentle giant with a heart of gold. He loved everyone he met and enjoyed life to the fullest. Gerald was an inspiration to many and has made a huge impact on thousands of lives. GJ was known for famous hugs that lingered on forever. He stood for the 3F's - Faith, Family, and Football. His relationship with God was unwavering.

GJ's love for football started at the age of five playing for UNA Pee-Wee and Triple-C teams. He went on to play for the Smyrna Bulldogs Recreation League. He later moved to Siegel Middle and Siegel High Schools where he received various accolades and awards including Most Valuable Player. He received his Associate's Degree from Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College, Bachelor's Degree from Georgia State University and Master's Degree from East Central University. Soon after receiving his Bachelor's Degree he accepted a Graduate Assistant position at his alma mater Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College. He transitioned to Oklahoma Baptist University where he coached running backs and tight ends. With perseverance, Gerald continued to elevate his coaching career by accepting a position at Northwestern State University. His determination for coaching did not stop there, after years of being miles away from home GJ was granted the opportunity to coach at Tennessee Technological University which had always been his dream job. Even though his time was cut short, Geej will always be an Eagle at heart.

Farewell, see you later GJ, you are forever loved. Your legacy will soar on forever. #WingsUp.
