Obituary:
Reverend Earnest L. Spann, Jr. was born on April 27,
1950 to the late Earnest T. L. Spann, Sr. and Bessie Louise Claybrooks Spann in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. He transitioned to glory on Saturday, May 23, 2020.

Earnest was educated in the Rutherford County School
System and graduated from Holloway High School in 1968.

Growing up he was affectionately known by his relatives as "Busta." He professed his hope in Christ at an early age and announced his call into the ministry and was ordained shortly afterwards.

Reverend Earnest Spann was a dedicated truck driver who was employed at State Stove Industries for numerous years. He enjoyed traveling throughout the United States, but had to retire due to health concerns.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Lesly Rena
Rhodes; and grandson, Tyler J. Spann. Cherishing his memory and rejoicing in his life and works are his sons, Kimmy T. (Angela) Spann of Lexington, Tennessee and Matthew Spann; daughter, NicolaL. Herrin; stepdaughter, Tammy (Fred) Tyus of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; siblings, Deacon Harold Spann, Mother Brenda (Loyal) Goins and Mother Victoria (Earl) Caruthers; grandsons, Chandler J. Spann, Darrell J. (Erika) Yow, Anthony Carney and Cabel Tyus; granddaughters, Leresha Burford, Dynesha Syler,
Jamarriya Womack, Keyvona Herrin, Kimmaleesa L. Spann and Tamiah Tyus; great granddaughters, Camryn J. Spann, Caylee J. Spann and Dionna B. Cason; great grandsons, Ren Lee Johnson and Traevon D. Yow; one aunt, Ada M. Claybrooks; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, friends and neighbors.
