She made her heavenly transition on Wednesday, May 6, 2020. She was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Catherine McCroskey; her brother, John W. Mosby; and her father and mother-in-law, Willie James and Mary Lee Haggins.
Sadie was educated in the Rutherford County School System. She served her country by enlisting in the United States Army.
Sadie professed her faith in Christ and united with Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church where she was a faithful member and served on the Usher Board.
Sadie was a loving mother, grandmother and friend. She was big on family, and loved her grandchildren. Sadie was loved by many and she had a host of friends. If she was around, there was never a dull moment. You were guaranteed a laugh.
Sadie leaves to cherish her memory: her devoted husband of 39 years, Earl Roger Haggins; daughter, Tara Davis; two sons, Earl Dwayne (Patricia) Haggins and Jonte (Rebecca) Haggins; one sister, JoAnn Mosby; one brother, Walter Thomas (Lucia) Mosby; three brothers-in-law, Carl Haggins, James (Debra) Haggins and Wayne Haggins; seven sisters-in-law, Wanda (Eddie) Wright, Carolyn (Edward) Coleman, Andrea (Vitaly) Cebanu, Joyce Haggins, Sandra Haggins, Earline (Samuel Lee) Smith and Jessie Gaither; six grandchildren, WiIIesha Drew, Ta'licia Martin, Takiah, KalIie, Elliott and Mateo Haggins; one great granddaughter, Tamira Benford; and host of nephews, nieces, other relatives, church family and friends; devoted friends, Theresa Miller, Henrietta Gaines and David Howse. |
