Larry Jerome Wilson
Obituary: Larry was born in Kansas City, Kansas to William Lloyd Wilson and Elzira Denmon Wilson. He transitioned from this earthly life to eternal life on May 1, 2020.
Larry was a graduate of the Dental Laboratory technician program at TCAT, Memphis. He worked as a Certified Dental Technician for Paragon Dental Laboratory (Memphis) and Dental Prosthetics Laboratory (Clarksville). He also was an entrepreneur for a brief time, with his sole proprietorship Monarch Dental Castings.
Larry served in the coast guard and Naval reserves. He resided in Kansas City Kansas from 2000 to February of this year when he moved to Murfreesboro in the care of his oldest daughter Monica.
He loved Blues music and could often be heard playing on his harmonica. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting, family and holidays.
He was preceded in death by both parents, and the following siblings; Frank Wooten, Glenn Wooten, Willa Jean Wilson, Gwendolyn "Ladybug" Wilson, William "Weegie" Lloyd Wilson Jr., Claretta Wilson and Liz Wilson.
He is survived by his youngest brother, Gregory Wilson; daughters, Monica Wilder and Christina Drones; his ex wife of 27years Blanche (Aulton) Wilson who resides in Memphis TN; brother, Gregory; six grandchildren, a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, in-laws, close friends and colleagues that will miss him dearly.
Due to restrictions brought on by Covid-19, the VA is not providing honor guard services at this time. We will be contacting family and friends when the restrictions have eased and we will be hosting a celebration of life service with full military honors.
