Alisa June Nance, the daughter of Alvin Nance Sr. and Elnora Daniel Nance, was born April 1, 1961 in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. She transitioned from the earthly life to eternal life on March 24,2020. She was a graduate of Riverdale High School, "Class of 1979".

Alisa was a devoted mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She retired from the Murfreesboro Fire Department after two decades of service. She was one of the first African American female engineer drivers in the City of Murfreesboro. Alisa enjoyed cooking, reading, crossword puzzle, watching TV, and spending time with family.

Alisa was preceded in death by her mother, Elnora Daniel Nance; her father, Alvin Nance Sr.; brother, Alvin Nance Jr.; sister, Karen Henry; and grandson, Michael Lee Roper.

Alisa leaves to cherish her memory, son Michael T. Nance (Natosha); grandchildren, Tanehia, Matthew, Tavarius, Makenzi and Micah; great grandson, Kaylen; sisters, Margaret Daniel and Mary Jean Dangerfield; brothers, Russell Daniel (Peggy), Larry Daniel (Lorrean), William H. Nance and Paul Nance; aunt, Dora Nell Freeman; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
