Kerry Montez McCroskey, son of the late lW. and Anna Ruth Peacock-McCroskey transitioned from this earthly life to eternal life on Monday, December 9, 2019. He was born January 11, 1964 in Shelbyville, Tennessee.

Kerry accepted Jesus Christ at a young age. He was a member of Stones River Primitive Baptist Church. Kerry was an independent contractor. He had a talent for visualizing architectural design and projects for many people across the State of Tennessee.

Fishing, sports, family and eating were many of the joys in Kerry's life.

Kerry leaves to cherish his precious memories his godparents, James Ernest and Thelmarine Mai Peacock-Frazier of Rockvale, Tennessee; children, Kerry Marshan Jones, Brittney Tiona McGill, Kerron Montez McCroskey and Derrius Lamonte (Natasha) Floyd; brothers, James Troy Frazier, Sr. and Danny Russell; sister, Trina F. Martin; seven grandchildren; uncles, Thomas McCroskey and Howard McCroskey; devoted aunts, Virginia Coleman and Donna Webb; devoted uncle, Joe (Mattie) Peacock; devoted friends who held a special place in his heart; and a host of many other family members and friends.

A limb has fallen from the family tree. I keep hearing a voice that says, "Grieve not for me. " Remember the best times, the laughter, the song. The good life lived while I was strong. Continue my heritage. I'm counting on you. Keep smiling and surely the sun will shine through. My mind is at ease, my soul is at rest. Remembering all now, 1 truly was blessed. Continue traditions, no matter how small. Go on with your life, don't just stare at the wall. 1 miss you all dearly, so keep up your chin ... until the day comes we're together again ...
