Timothy Eugene "Lil U" Odom was born to John R. Odom Sr. and Mary K. White Odom on February 29, 1980. He transitioned from this earthly life to his heavenly life on Saturday, October 5, 2019 at the age of 39.

Timothy was educated in the Murfreesboro School System. Tim better known to many as Lil U never met a stranger. He always loved to talk and he was loyal to his family and friends. He even nicknamed his nieces to which all loved him and he loved them.

He professed a hope in Christ and baptized at The New Beginning Christian Center under the leadership of Pastor Isaiah Dalton.

He was the fourth youngest of six siblings, which three preceded him in death, Shatika A., Keon M. and John R. Odom, Jr.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his parents, John and Mary Odom; his devoted best friend, his supporter, Chanda Watkins; his daughter, Amiyah Rosa Faith Odom; two sons, Timothy and Christopher; two sisters, Tina Simmons and Lasanaza White; one brother, Charles Odom; four aunts, Octalene White, Martha Seay, Teresa Turner and Jackie Odom; two uncles, Fred Lee Hollins and Carmac K. Odom; five nieces, three nephews and a host of devoted friends.

"A limb has fallen from my family tree. I keep hearing a voice that says, "Grieve not for me" Remember the best times, the laughter and the song. The good life I lived while 1 was strong. Continue my heritage, I'm counting on you. Keep smiling in surely the sun will shine through. My mind is at ease, my soul is at rest. Remembering all how truly I was blessed. I miss you dearly, so keep up your chin, until the day comes and we are together once again"
