Obituary:
Mr. Carl Dwight Brown, age 74 of Murfreesboro transitioned from this earthly life to eternal life on Friday, April 5, 2019 at St. Thomas Rutherford.

Carl D. Brown was born on November 13, 1944 in Muncie, Indiana to Ruth Moore Brown and Edward J. Brown.

Always a firm believer in education, Carl considered himself a lifelong learner. He earned his Bachelor's Degree in International Business and Marketing. Carl was a proud Army Veteran who served in Vietnam and received an honorable discharge in 1968.

In 1996, he relocated to Tennessee, where he continued working in his beloved position with General Motors/Saturn until he retired after 46 years of service.
Carl was a dedicated husband and father. His love for his family had no boundaries. He was happiest when he was surrounded by all of his family, especially at Sunday family dinners, He enjoyed spending t time at the lake fishing or just looking at his "million dollar
view". I He touched the lives of many people with his smile, his laugh and his generosity. He was lovingly known as The Bear, Carl Bunyon, Big C, Yukon, Brown, Popi, Grandpa, and Pa. He mostly cherished his time with his Baby K, his Buddy, his Babycakes, his Lollipop, and his Sugar.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Carlos Brown; brother, Edgar Brown; and sisters, Katrenia Brown and Yvette Turner. He transitioned from this earthly life to eternal life on Friday, April 5, 2019.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife, Delores; daughters, Tamara (Tom)Abbott, Tahira (Matthew) Pyszka and Tadia Brown: his grandchildren Katrina Johnson, Zac Brown, Mia Brown, Gaby Brown, Keylon Johnson, Isabella Pyszka and Ava Pyszka; his sister, Yvonne (Eddie) Clark; uncle, Clifton (Verna) Moore; his nephews, Cortez O. Brown, Caleb Brown and Joshua Turner; nieces, Nina (Coleman) Anderson, Katrelenia Clark and Faith Turner; special cousin, Ruthie Malone; he leaves his 'brothers,' Lavelle Brooks, Brian Settles and Phillip Williams; a large extended family of aunts, brothers and sisters in-law, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and friends.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Delores Brown; daughters, Tamara (Tom) Abbott, Tahira (Matthew) Pyszka, and Tadia Brown; and a host of other devoted family members and friends.
