On August 23, 1960, God loaned to Mother Minnie W. Horton and the late Deacon Ernest C. Horton, Sr. their baby daughter, Elder Sharroniese L. Horton. On August 4,2018, he required that she come back to Him.

She was saved at the age of seven years old at the Greenhill Church. She served in various ministries, but she faithfully served in the music department as the Minister of Music for 21 years. She later became a
member of Christ the Healer Church where she has served faithfully for 20 years as the Pastor of Worship which included the music ministry, intercessory prayer, altar workers and the arts. She was licensed as a Minister and ordained as an Elder of the Gospel by Bishop Calvin B. and Pastor Lynnita M. Lockett.

Elder Horton graduated from Northwest High School and attended Austin Peay State University, where she became a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc., and studied classical piano performance. She was employed for 33 years as a customer service supervisor for the cable company in Fort Campbell, Kentucky and was the owner of Sharjazz Soothing Sounds.

During her life she has been a teacher, mentor, motivator and inspiration to many.

Known to many as "Auntie", she is preceded in death by her father, Deacon Ernest C. Horton Sr. and her sister, Iretta Watkins.

She leaves to celebrate her legacy her beloved mother, Mother Minnie W. Horton; her brother, Ernest C. Horton Jr.; her loving sisters, Margaret (Willie) Cowan Sr. and Pastor LaRita L. Horton; her nephew, Willie (Katherine) Cowan II; nephew/son, Pastor Shamond (Brittany) Scales Sr.; two nieces, Dr. Patrice (Jarvis) Reed and Phakisha (Everett) Home; six great nephews and four great nieces all to whom she affectionately refers to as her "sweet sweet"; a host of cousins, but especially her
partner in crime, Lawrence Godfrey. She also leaves to celebrate her legacy, Sister Fatina Taylor and Elder
Pauline Hutchinson who she adopted as her sisters.
