Mr. Richard George McGinnis, age 72 of Murfreesboro transitioned from this earthly life to eternal life on Thursday, March 1, 2018 at St. Thomas Rutherford.

He is survived by daughters, Theresa (John) Norman and Veronica McGinnis; son, Leonard (Pamela) McGinnis; grandchildren: Jasmin (Judon) Dancy, Janesha Norman, Devin McGinnis, John W. (Rebecca) Norman and Veronica (Danni) McGinnis; great-grandchildren: Joanna Dancy, Joelene Dancy and Jaylen Norman; sisters: Dorothy English, Shirley (Doug) Shelby and Diane (Robert) Owens; brother, Earnest McGinnis; and a host of other relatives and friends.
