Mary Beulah Davis was born on August 18, 1926 to the late George and Lillie Owens in Eagleville, Tennessee. She transitioned from this earthly life to eternal life on Saturday, October 29,2016 at NHC Nursing Facility.

Mary accepted Christ at an early age. Mary attended Cedar Grove School.

On June 10, 1946 Mary united in holy matrimony to Prentice Davis and to this union six children were born.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Prentice Davis; son, Prentice Davis Jr.; grandchildren, Michael Davis, Catrina Davis and Kim Jones; brother, Andrew Owens; daughter-in-law, Christina Davis; and sister-in-law, Lillie Owens.

Mary leaves to cherish her memory: daughters, Viola (N athanie1) Jordan of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Teresa Steger of Nashville, Tennessee, Mary Davis and Annie Davis both of Rockvale, Tennessee; son, Robert (Diane) Davis of Nashville, Tennessee; grandchildren, Frank Allen, William Davis, Kevin Davis, Michelle Davis and Lachlle Robertson; sixteen great grandchildren; nieces, Patricia Crowley, Gloria (Jeffery) Lillard and Cassandra Owens; nephews, Anton (Brenda) Owens and Kerry Owens; a host of other family members and friends.

God saw the road was getting rough,
The hills were hard to climb.
He gently closed those loving eyes,
And whispered, "Peace Be Thine. "
The weary hours, the days of pain,
The sleepless nights are past;
The ever patient worn out frame.
Has found sweet rest at last.
