Obituary:
Virginia "Neicy" Denise Bell, was born on November 7, 1963 in Hopkinsville, Kentucky to the late Dorothy Ann Boyd Mitchell and Howard Lacy. On Wednesday, August 24, 2016 she transitioned from her earthly life to her eternal life.

Neicy graduated from Christian County High School, Class of 1981. She went on to attend Murray State University majoring in Rehabilitation Counseling with a minor in Military Science. In August of 1986, she earned her Bachelor's Degree. After college, Neicy went into the US Army as a 2nd Lieutenant. She specialized in Air Defense Artillery, guarding Hawk Missiles. She was later promoted to 1 st Lieutenant. N eicy served in the Army from October 15 1986 through January 1989. After being honorably discharged from the military, Neicy worked five years as a Social Worker at the Department of Social Services in Hopkinsville, Kentucky.

She also worked three years as a Social Worker at the Tennessee Rehabilitation Center in Smyrna, Tennessee.

At the age of 11, she accepted Christ in her life as her Lord and Savior. Beginning her journey as a Christian, Neicy was a very active member at New Zion Baptist Church in Hopkinsville, Kentucky. She held a multitude of roles until she transferred her membership to Stones River Primitive Baptist Church in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. She later moved her membership to Cedar Grove Baptist Church, under Pastor Monte Lester. She was a Sanctuary Choir Member, Children's Youth Ministry Teacher, Pastor's Aide and recently worked her way up to Pastor's Secretary.

Those left to mourn, but cherish her memory are her two daughters, Annisha Bell and Denisha Bell; ex-husband, Brandon Bell; two brothers, Michael Mitchell and Stevie Mitchell (Bonnie); five sisters, Omelia Osborne (William), Pamela Bridgett (Kenneth), Patsy James, Uvetta Watkins (Wayne) and Rosetta McDade; aunt, Bettye Christine Suber; best friends, Dianna Johnson, Ms. Sarah Baker and Ms. Sallie Bell; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
