Obituary:
William "Bill" Bon Vaughter was born November 28, 1940 to the late James Vaughter and Callie Bell Smith Vaughter. He stepped from time to eternity on April 19, 2016 at his home after an extended illness. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Margo Savely- Vaughter; two sons, William Jr. and Robert; his twin sister, Mary King; sisters, Annie Yeargins, Frankie Lee Jordan and Nannie Lee adorn; brothers, James Vaughter Jr. and Thomas Vaughter.

He professed a hope in Christ at an early age and united with Cedar Grove Primitive Baptist Church.

He attended the Rutherford County Public School System. Bill worked for Haynes Brothers Supply Company for several years. He also worked for Southern Bell Construction as a concrete specialist and then branched out on his own and started his own business.

His greatest devotion was his love of family and friends. Often Bill would be found sitting on the porch with friends and family. He loved going fishing, feeding the birds and planting tomatoes.

He leaves to mourn his passing eight children, Mr. Wendell (Gladys) Vaughter, Ms. Sabrina Williams, Ms. Francine Vaughter, Mrs. Lamyai (Jermaine) Majors, Mr. Antywan Savely, Ms. Pynthia Savely and Mr. William Savely all of Murfreesboro; one sister, Mrs. Sarah (James) Harding; one brother, Mr. Jesse (Emma) Vaughter all of Murfreesboro; eleven grandchildren, Takela Vaughter, Sade' and Brittany Williams, Dominique and Darius Ellis, LaDarius Gaines, LaDasia Watkins, Jermecia Majors, Ky'Moni Marable, Kira and Skylah Savely; four great -grandchildren, Cortavion Marable, Zyimere, Devontae and Samuel Williams; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
