Chandler, 82, of Murfreesboro, died Sunday, March 6, 2016. Georgia was born in Weaver, Indiana on February 18, 1934 to James Arnold and Emma Melvina Smith Burton. She lived most of her life in Marion until moving south to Murfreesboro, Tennessee.
She married John Patterson and from that union, they were blessed with eight children. She later married Avery Chandler, who preceded her in death in 2009.
Her son Paul Patterson, her stepson Avery Chandler, her sister, and her six brothers also preceded her in death.
Georgia is survived by her children, Elizabeth Dorsey, John (Kim) Patterson, Delores (Carl) Brown, Marguerite (Charles) Butler, Loraine (Dewayne) Jackson, Matthew (Kathy) Patterson and Warren (Jacquelyn) Patterson; stepdaughters, Tina Patterson, Linda Dyson and Susan Williams; stepsons, David (Carlise) Chandler, Phillip Chandler and Patrick (Staci) Chandler; grandchildren, Scott Waters, Charles Eric Dorsey, Amanda Dorsey, Alison (Jakarta) Mack, Kristina (Scott) Steucher, John Patterson III, Tamara (Tom) Abbott, Tahira (Matthew) Pyszka, Tadia Brown, Paul Patterson III, Charles (Michelle) Butler, Aisha Butler, Trey Salter, Angie Salter, Wesley Jackson, Chelsea Patterson, Parker Patterson, Asher Patterson and Abigail Patterson; great grandchildren, Victoria Waters, Raekwon Dorsey, Raeona Dorsey, Kamya Dorsey, Treyvon Dorsey, Jaelyn Dorsey, Ashton Dorsey, Amelya Dorsey, Jasmine Mack, Katrina Johnson, Keylon Johnson, Isabella Pyszka, Mia Brown, Kamaria Wright, Tyler Western, Jordan Butler, Kennedy Butler, Payton Cotton and Daniel Cotton; great-great grandchildren, Avaiah and Alannah Waters; sisters-in-law, Marguerite Burton and Pauline Burton; as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends. |
