Obituary:
Will Hulan Martin was the oldest born July 20, 1919 to Clifford and Laura Lee Martin in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. On Saturday, January 2, 2016 he transitioned from this life to live eternally with our Heavenly Father.
He gave his life to Christ at an early age and was a dedicated member of Hickory Grove Missionary Baptist Church and later united with Bradley Creek Missionary Baptist Church. He was educated in the Rutherford County School System. Upon completing school in 1942, he joined the United States Army. Will served four years in the military and received an honorable discharged. He then moved to Nashville and resided there until his accident in 1953 where he then moved to Rutherford County where he lived until he departed this life.
He is preceded in death by his mother and father, Mr. Clifford and Lauren Lee Martin; one sister; I've brothers; and two sons.
He leaves to cherish his memory a loving, devoted, and caring wife, Marro Martin; daughter, Cynthia Diane (Dwight) Gregory; sons, Oscar Lee Martin, and Robert Gregory (Diana) Martin; sister, Barbara Owens; sisters-in-law, Juanita Miller, Josephine Davis, and Izola (Rick) Davidson; grandchildren, Michelle Reynolds, Marqulitia (DuRoccus) Harris, Camisha Swader, Shalonda (Robert) Wilcox, LaToya Odom, Devona Odom, Marcus Martin, William Martin, Corey Hinton, Denisha Martin, Terrance Blair and Tennisha Puckett; twenty-three great grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.
