Obituary:
Johnnie Allen Scales was born on December 8, 1953 to the late John L. and Emmalean McClain Scales. He departed this earthly life on June 8, 2015 at Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital.

He accepted Christ in his life and later was a devoted member of True Faith Ministries, Pastor Gloria McGowan until his death.

He truly enjoyed life and loved his family.

He served in the Military/Armed Forces for three years, being stationed at Fort Worth, and Germany with a Honorable Discharge from 1973 ~ 1976. He later became a dedicated worker for Murfreesboro City Schools for 21 years.

Johnnie leaves to cherish his loving memory his devoted daughter, Jocelyn Pavielle Williams; grandson, Xavier Hill; four sisters, Bertrice Scales, Deloris (Percy) Lytle, Sonya (Tommy) Chaney, and Valerie (William) Oglesby; aunts, Addie Caruthers, Anna Lee Johnson, Yvonne Scales, Sadie Pearl Scales, Lorrine Scales, and Dorothy Jean Brown; loving nieces, and nephews; devoted family and friends, Robert " Bo" Peacock, Dewey Jordan, Walter Batey, Deloris Swader, Debra Morgan, and Ebra Sandford.
