Wilder on March 1, 1947 in Tampa, Florida. He transitioned from this earthly life to eternal life on Monday, April 27, 2015 at his home.
He was educated in the Hillsborough County School System in Tampa, Florida.
He attended the Journeys in Community Living since 1975. Chester enjoyed spending time with his family & friends at the community center, laughing, dancing listening to James Brown music.
He accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age at New Salem Missionary Baptist Church in Tampa, Florida. He later joined Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Smyrna, Tennessee under the leadership of Reverend Wellington Johnson.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Dan Henry Wilder Jr.
Chester Franklin Wilder leaves to cherish his memories two very loving and devoted brothers, John (Yoi) Wilder, Sr. and Douglas (Deborah) Wilder of Silver Springs, Maryland; two nieces, Raysteina (Clifford) Wallace and Katrina Laurice Wilder of Atlanta, Georgia; two nephews, John (Christa) Wilder and Irvin (Stacy) Wilder; a host of great nieces and great nephews; a devoted friend, Reverend Cecil Parrish; other relatives and friends. |
