Annie Lee McAdoo Wade "Ma - Ma" was born May 26, 1927 in Rutherford County Tennessee to the late Buford Womack and Dellie McAdoo Alexander. She transitioned from her earthly home to her eternal home on March 3, 2015 at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital.

Ma - Ma was educated in the Rutherford County School System.
She was baptized by Reverend Charles Evans at early age at Bethel Missionary Baptist Church. She served on the Usher Board and sang in the choir. She was an active member of the Caring and Sharing Ladies and the Deaconess Board until her passing.

Ma - Ma was employed as the first cook at Bethel School. She was a housekeeper and Nanny for many years. She also worked at various restaurants, until retiring, and then she became a fulltime nanny to her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Deacon Sam Minus Wade; daughter, Peggy Lee Cason; son, Chester Wade; granddaughter, Tracy Cason; siblings, Rae McAdoo, John Tarver, Sara Kimbro and James Alexander.

Ma - Ma leaves to cherish her memories her daughter, Dianna Swader; six grandchildren, Teresa (Glenn) Waldon, David (Lisa) Swader, Allen (Lisa) Swader, Jeffery Jordan, Rico Wade and Phillip (Serena) Cason; ten great grandchildren, Derrick, Marcus and Rashena Miller, David Jr. and Ryan Swader, Zion and Amari Swader, Cedric Dawson, Alayshia and Shontoria Cason; eight great-great grandchildren; loving and devoted niece, Brenda Southwell; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; best friend and loving niece, Sadie Wade
