Obituary:
Johnnie B. "Frog" Cantrell was born on April 9, 1953 to Victory Cantrell, Sr. and late Minnie Cantrell. He transitioned from this earthly life to eternal life on February 28, 2015 at St. Thomas Rutherford.

He professed his hope in Christ at an early age at Bethel Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor R. L. Evans.

Johnnie received his education in the Rutherford County School System.

He was employed at Middle Tennessee State University for 25 years. Johnnie was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Cantrell and Rosie Cantrell. He leaves to cherish his memories his father, Victory Cantrell; daughters, Felicia Nelson, Jontue Harper, and Ruby Alexander; sons, Victory Cantrell, and Johnny Cantrell Jr.; grandchildren, Shacobia Barbee, Destiny and Janice Harper, Antuan Williams Jr., Diamond Walker, Ke'Shaun Walker, and Victor Cantrell; sisters, Willie May Patterson, Gloria King, and Edna Patton; brothers,Victory (Evelyn) Cantrell Jr., Oliver Cantrell, Eugene Cantrell, and William (Brenda) Cantrell; devoted nieces, Edna (Terrance) Parker, and LaSpecial Cantrell; devoted nephews, William (Shaneka) Cantrell, Tony Patterson and Jimmy Patterson; devoted friends, Mattie Cason, Margaret Martin, Shelia Moore, Stephanie Looper, Freddie Johnson, Sam Green, and Michael "Big Head" Alexander; devoted stepdaughter, Mary "Big Mary" Cason; devoted play grandchildren, Tayquise and Tayquion Cason; a host of other family and friends.
