Obituary:
Ronnie Eugene Bird Alsup was born July 31, 1955 in Murfreesboro, Tennessee to Mrs. Lorene Watkins. He departed this life August 14, 2014 at his residence.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Mrs. Lorene Alsup Watkins, brothers, Willie Paul and Eddie Rogers Alsup; and grandparents, Reverend Wayman and Mrs. Sarah Alsup.

He professed a hope in Jesus Christ at an early age at Brandon View Missionary Baptist Church, now known as, Gods House of Restoration. He was educated in the Rutherford County School System and was a graduate of Riverdale High School, Class of 1973.

In his loving memory, he leaves to cherish, one very devoted son, Doralco Johns and daughter, Chiquita Martin; three grandchildren, Marquis and Alanna Johns, and Anthony Martin; aunts, Gladys Alexander, Selma Collier, Faye (Pastor Robert C.) Verge, Lillie F. Batts, Samella Pinkerton and Geraldine Alsup; extended family, special godparents, H and Vena McCormick; a host of cousins, and many friends.
