Alice Marie Howse Wallace departed this life Monday, July 7, 2014. She was born July 17, 1942 in Murfreesboro, Tennessee to the late Curtis A. Howse, Sr. and Mary T. Howse.

Alice was educated in the Rutherford County School System. She gave her life to Christ at an early age. She attended church faithfully until her health failed.

Everyone that knew Alice knew her love for professional wrestling, being a lover of basketball(her favorite team LA Dodgers). Alice enjoyed jigsaw puzzles and western movies. Alice was fondly know to her immediate family as Weasel a name given to her by her father. She enjoyed spending alone. Alice retired from MTSU where she served her employer well and made lasting friends.

Alice was preceded in death by her father and mother; and brother, Curtis A. Howse, Jr.

She leaves to mourn her passing, husband, Clarance Wallace; children, Candace(James)Washington and Cherne Johnson; sisters, Mary Lawrence and Margaret (Thomas) Patterson; brother, William E. (Lakita) Howse; grandchild,Sidney T.Herbert; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

God looked around his garden and found an empty space.
Then He looked down upon this earthy and saw your tired face.
He put his arms around you and lifted you to rest.
Gods garden must be beautiful. He only takes the best.
