She transitioned into her heavenly life on Monday, June 2, 2014.
She was born and raised in Panama City, Panama where she attended public school. She moved to the United States upon her marriage to the late SSgt. JTM Bingham. She later united into Holy matrimony to John Lambert. She was an avid hard worker and believed that whatever she undertook had to be done to the best of her ability. Her work experience included over 20 years at Cumberland-Swan Drugs where she retired.
She was baptized and professed her belief in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at an early age and was a faithful and active member at Walnut Grove Missionary Baptist Church and later at Antioch Primitive Baptist Church until her health failed. She loved her church and pastor dearly and worked fervently within the church. Miss Pearl, as she is affectionately known, was a strict disciplinarian and had a nurturing spirit; she loved all people and would share her love with all of them. She gave the gifts of kindness and of caring; she sowed the seeds of love, friendship, and self worth. She had an unselfish and loving spirit, and she utilized these gifts in her service on the usher board. She loved the Word of God, studied the Word daily, and was a faithful participant in Bible study and Sunday School. Her love, laughter, friendship, and support will be forever cherished by her loving and devoted children whom she loved dearly: daughters, Shirley Bingham, Selma (Reginald) Patterson, Carlota Freeman, Angela Ard of Murfreesboro; sons, Richard (Janice) Bingham of Landover, Maryland, Rodrick (Portia) Bingham of Baltimore, Maryland, Steve A. Bingham, and Warren Logan of Murfreesboro; grandchildren, Amable Osborne, Sherrie Cowan, Ricky (Kenya) Bingham, Freedom (Cicelly) Bingham, Gabriel Bingham, Reyna Bingham, Yakeista Dunston, Rebecca Bingham, Amber Lawrence, DeMarcus Johnson, Todd Johnson, Tarica Freeman, Waneka Logan, Fredrick Ard, and DeAngelo Ard. She will be sadly missed by 18 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren; stepson James Bingham, devoted friend Pam Pearcy, devoted family friends Alesia Davis, Renessa Yokley, John Gooch, devoted caretaker Irish Evans, and many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. |
