"Judge me, O LORD; for I have walked in mine integrity: I have trusted also in the LORD; therefore I shall not slide."
~ Psalms 26:1

Rosetta Pinkerton-Wiggins was the first born child of Elect Lady Samella Marable-Alsup Pinkerton and the late James Fletcher Pinkerton, Sr. As loving parents, Rosetta being the first granddaughter on both paternal and maternal sides of her family, Rosetta was a precocious beloved special child.

Aside from being loved by so many people Rosetta had a brilliant, and intelligence that was as much a part of her quietness as well as the intelligence she possessed as a student. A proud graduate of Holloway High School where she graduated with honors, Rosetta worked on the yearbook staff. Rosetta was a beautiful, proud majorette with the Holloway High School Hawks. Inspired by the love and dedication of her Aunt June Pinkerton-Beard, Rosetta was encouraged greatly and eagerly pursued a career in Nursing. She received her licensed practical nurse (LPN) degree from The Pensacola Florida Academy in Pensacola Florida, where she resided with her aunt, Bishop Minnie Bradley.

Rosetta loved nursing and she served with a passion. It was not unommon for her to work shifts back to back in order to make sure her children lacked for nothing. She had a beautiful signature smile and a laugh to go along with it. She befriended many and never met a stranger. Shortly, after the death of her dear grandmother Ida B. Haynes Pinkerton, Rosetta suffered a set-back, but just as she did with everything in her live, she refused to give up and so she went back to nursing until her health failed.

Rosetta loved church service, whether it was her home church at the Original Church of God on East Castle or her mother's church, The New Jerusalem Church of God. She would sit, listen, clap her hands and shout "Amen".

Rosetta was a very devoted and loving daughter, sister, and mother. She was united in marriage to Sunny Wiggins and from this union four children were born.

She accomplished many goals in her short life; perhaps becoming a mother was the greatest. She was blessed with four beautiful children and she loved every one of them. Her last daughter, Lawanna was her life. It was with Lawanna and her children that she found the greatest joy.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Christopher L. Pinkerton of Florida.

Rosetta leaves to mourn in her passing, a very devoted daughter, Lawanna (Marcus) Wiggins-Wade, sons, Eleazer (Kathi), Robert (Holly), and Mark (Meredith) Wiggins; devoted and loving mother, Elect Lady Samella Marable-Alsup-Pinkerton; sisters, Shelia (Albert) Sandifer, Smyrna, Tennessee, Annette Pinkerton-Hill, Shelbyville, Tennessee, Sara Pinkerton-Phillips, Christiana, Tennessee and Pamelia Pinkerton-Asemebo, Murfreesboro, Tennessee; brothers, James F. Pinkerton Jr., Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Oscar (June) Pinkerton, (Laverne) Bruce D. (Fphlonda) Pinkerton, Nashville, Tennessee. She also leaves behind a devoted grandson, Marquez Alize' Wade; 20 loving grandchildren; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and the many children that came into her home where they gave her the loving title "Mama Rose".

"I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth."
