Gloria was preceded in death by sister, Mary Sue Akins. She attended Oakland High School and later attended Job Corp Breckenridge to study Culinary Arts. She leaves to mourn her passing, husband, Darius N. Howse Lit Bit; children, Mai Christine Akins Black, Lautausha M. Wilson and Alvin D. Wilson, all of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; grandchildren, Queshawna M. White, Roderick S. Black, Jr. and Jailin M. Scruggs; sisters, Maggie A. (Johnny) Matthews of Lascassas, Tennessee, Elizabeth (Don) Nevils of Franklin, Tennessee, Dorothea M. Akins, Dora C. (Larry) Jordan and Judith F. Akins (Tracey) Vaughn, all of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; brothers, John E. (Vivian) Akins of Huntsville, Alabama and Thomas J. (Deborah) Akins of Nashville, Tennessee; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and other loved ones. As our hearts fill with pain, And our eyes fill with tears, You are resting on in heaven, But we really need you near. We don t know how to start to, Live without you in our lives. You wasn t only a strong mother, but a sweet and loving wife. We will miss you til our deaths, and Things will never be the same but it s time to rest in peace, Cause you have earned your angel wings. Love, Your Husband and Children |
