Sheila DeAhn Fay Matlock was born September 21, 1959 in Kansas City, Kansas to Robert Fay and Betty Fay Hall. She departed this life on February 20, 2013 at her home in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.

At the age of seven, Sheila moved with her mother and stepfather, Ernest Hall Jr., to Washington, DC. Although Mr. Hall was not her biological father, he raised her and as far as Sheila was concerned, he was her dad. Sheila grew up in Fort Washington, Maryland. As a teenager, she was a majorette and a member of the drill team with Mecca Court No.2, A.E.A.O.N.M.S. Sheila graduated from LaReine High School and attended Howard University, where she studied Zoology.

Sheila was very customer service oriented, which is why most of her employment was helping people. Sheila was kind-hearted, had a friendly personality and got along well with others, but most of all, she loved children. She also loved to watch reruns of old television shows such as, I Love Lucy, Matlock, and Columbo.

Shelia was preceded in death by her husband, Stanly Matlock and her father, Ernest Hall, Jr.

She leaves to cherish her memory her devoted mother, Betty Hall; her loving daughter, Angel Martin; devoted sister, Kim Morris; brother-in-law, Jeffrey Morris; uncle, Robert Poynter; a dear and devoted friend, Schuronda Hodge; and a host of other loved ones and friends.
